Kitvendr Snoods

As sports fans everywhere patiently await the day they can gather in their droves at sports grounds and venues, we are thinking about what the new normal is going to look like, and how things might change. Face coverings are something we have all become accustomed to, but are they just a temporary necessity?

According to experts, masks and face coverings are here to stay for the foreseeable future at events where social distancing is difficult. By now, most of us are used to the idea of wearing masks, but snoods have been a popular alternative.

Snoods are small and lightweight tubes of fabric that can be worn in a variety of ways, mostly as scarfs, but more recently as face coverings. Pre-pandemic they had been growing in popularity in the outdoor sports community as a lightweight accessory to help protect your head, neck and face from the elements. They are comfortable, breathable, and easy to wash. They are also very convenient as you can simply lift it onto the face as needed, rather than constantly taking a mask on and off and in and out of pockets.

We believe the snood has the chance to be a mainstay of a Clubs merchandise range in the long term. The growing popularity of the garment itself has been accelerated due to current events and also it is great for brand awareness as it’s very visible, especially when worn on the face. They’re a great alternative, if not addition to, a club scarf and/or hat!

At Kitvendr, we design and manufacture high quality snoods as well as a growing teamwear and merchandise range. So if your club is looking to capitalize on this new trend and develop a new income stream moving forward, drop us a message and let’s talk :)
